03/06:
Xishan took part in 2 3-on-3 carnivals and performed very well in those tournaments.
In the North Zone games carnival, TXF swept both the boys and girls titles. The girls had an easy tournament, beating all the opponents comfortably. The boys started the tournament by hammering their opponents but they were slapped with a surprise defeat by Anchor green pri in the Q-finals stage. They qualified for the semi-finals as runner-up of the group. They picked themselves up and showed great character by overcoming their semi-final opponent to reach the finals. In the finals, the outplayed Huamin Pri to win the title.
In the Northland Floorball Rumble, TXF dominated the scene as most of our teams progressed beyond the group stage. The 4 boys teams were represented mainly by the senior players whereas the girls teams were made up of 2 senior teams and 3 junior teams.

Xishan Floorball did a double by winning both the Senior and Junior Girls National Floorball Championship. The Junior Girls complete the double by beating Pasir Ris Pri 5-1 in the finals. After losing to Pasir Ris 2-5 in the group stage, the girls started the game determined to reverse the result.
Right from the first whistle, the girls put pressure on Pasir Ris to get the early goal. The girls kept their shape throughout the game and defended very well as a team. They were quick to close down the opponent and were quick on their counter-attacks. Every single member of the team played as instructed and they were very disciplined in keeping to the game plan. This was the icing on the cake as earlier in the year, the Senior girls team clinched the Nationals Floorball Championship Senior Girls Division by beating Pasir Ris pri 5 -0.
In an earlier game, the Junior boys came from behind to beat Meridien Pri to finish 3rd.
25/04:
On the 25th of Apr, a small floorball carnival was held at Tampines West C.C. Team Xishan Floorball sent 1 boy team and 3 girls team. All four teams were coached by Shymdeen and Gigi Tan, our Senior players. Mr Ashari and Mr Gomez took a back seat and supervised. The coaches did very well in the Tampines West CSC Floorball 3-on-3 tournament as all the teams finished in the top 4 placing The Boy's Team, Xishan Hornet, started the tournament by beating Pasirian Predators by 3 goals to 2. They went on beating the rest of the opponents effortlessly. They met Pasirian Predators again in the finals and lost 1-2. The Hornets played very well throughout the tournament, displaying great teamwork and understanding.
In the Girl's category, the Killer Bees and Honey Bees started their tournament with easy wins but Bumble Bees were unfortunate to lose thier opening game to Unity. As Killer bees and Honey Bees continued thier winning ways, Killer Bees even managed to beat Pasirian Cayote, Bumble Bees picked up their game and started to win . All the three teams qualified for the quarter-finals and beat their q-finals opponents easily. In the semi-finals, 2 of our senior teams, Killer Bees and Bumble Bees, played each other in an exciting match. The game ended in a draw with Bumblee Bees winning the penalty shoot-out. The Honey Bees, our only junior team, lost to Pasirian Coyote by 2 goals to 1. Bumble Bees went on to meet Pasirian Cayote in the finals and lost on penalty shootout.
In the Under-12 Boys category, our Xishan Hornets came in 2nd.
In the Under-12 Girls category, Xishan Bumble Bees came in 2nd, Xishan Killer Bees came in 3rd and Xishan Honey Bees came in 4th.

Junior Division Tournament 2009
GREAT NEWS FOR TXF!!!
Xishan Junior boys made it into the semi-finals of the National Junior Floorball Championship. After a dissapointing loss to Huamin (4-7)in the first Q-final game, the boys bounce back to beat West Grove (11-0) and Pasir Ris (10-6) to qualify for the semi-finals as grouping winner.
XIshan Junior girls made it to the FInals of the National Junior Floorball Championship by beating Huamin (9- 1) in the semi-finals. They will be playing Pasir Ris in the finals.
